The 4121 and 4035 are stand-alone fiber optic infrared sensors for
applications requiring the advantages of non-contact temperature
measurement and fiber optic technology. They are used where conventional
infrared detectors are not practical, such as targets which are not easy
to access, have small spot sizes, are in high energy fields, are in
environments with high humidity or smoke, or in high vacuum.
Both units feature temperature ranges up to 3500 degrees C (6332 degrees F) and +/-1.0% accuracy rating. Both units also offer a 50 msec response time. Adjustable emissivity is provided for high accuracy measurements. The spot size on the 4121 and 4035 is available down to .004". The 4121 is compatible with J, K, T, or E type thermocouple instrumentation, and the 4035 features optional signal processing. Both units have 1 mv output standard.
The 4121 is priced starting at $2195, while the 4035 starts at $31 95. (*)
